FUNDRAISING - RUN YOUR OWN SPORTS TOURNAMENT!!

How about a homemade idea? Run your own school sports tournament!

I know of a high school that netted over $2,000 running a student volleyball tournament during their lunch/activity period. Teams of five, three boys and two girls, paid $10 each to compete in double elimination 15-minute games, broken down by age groups and homerooms, with prizes for the winners. Special rules insure that no team is stacked and everyone has a chance to play. "Fans" are asked to pay $1 to attend each game.
