FUNDRAISING - LOVE THAT CHOCOLATE!!

Goodness, how many times have I purchased candy bars for fundraisers at schools? LOTS! It's quick and easy, and the candy bar is yummy!

One outfit is Gamber Fundraising of Camp Hill, which specializes in Hershey products. I'm told that representative Matt Gamber is very helpful in getting you the items you wish, ranging from Hershey bars to Reese's items to Twizzlers, Kit Kat bars and more. Sell the item for $1.00, you get to keep 50 cents for your yearbook, not bad.

Get more information on Gamber Fundraising by going to www.gamberfundraising.com, or give them a call toll-free at 800-439-3800 and ask for more info. Here's a fundraiser that's always popular!

Another option is selling World's Finest Chocolate bars from QSP, the well-known fundraising company.

The pricing for the chocolate bars was very affordable yet still offered a nice return for the school. And they offer many more possible items to sell for fundraising dollars.

QSP is more well-known as the company connected with Reader's Digest and magazine sales. Check out their website at www.qsp.com for complete information on their fundraisers.

Perhaps your school is one of these that no longer allows candy sales because of the new "wellness" nutrition rules. If that's you, approach your school's wellness or nutrition coordinator and explain that many people, especially adults, have always enjoyed chocolate and that the these fundraisers are lucrative ones that could really help your financial effort. Perhaps make some kind of stipulation that no candy will be consumed in school, or arrange for distribution of the candy after school or during the evening.
